I noticed this port asks a lot of questions, but some of them aren't
really necessary.  For instance, it should be getting binary and
manpage installation directories from imake config files.

Do you think you can modify the installation script to ask only the
essential questions?  That will probably annoy the users much less and
make package building that much easier.
