One other thing you can try, assuming your adapter isn't on ID 6, is to increase the bus settle delay. You can do that by adding something like this to your config file: options SCSI_DELAY=15 The default bus settle delay in CAM is 2 seconds, if you don't have SCSI_DELAY defined. (it is set to 15 seconds in GENERIC, though) 0x4a means that we're getting a selection timeout when we try to access the device.
