Unluckily, most every modem that Lucent makes that I know about is a Winmodem. Secondly, the older PNP stuff had problems with some of the PCI modems. I'm running a Jaton V.90 which is about as generic as you can get. For $50, I can't see you getting anything very good, but would recommend looking at Zoom modems over Supra or USR.
