hi, is there any way to change root's default shell from csh to bash. i'm doing a lot of work on my system and i'm sick of having to start bash at every shell i open. any help would be greatly appreciated. i've already changed the path to my shell in both /etc/passwd and /etc/master.passwd but it didn't change it. and i would also like to know how to customize my bash prompt with my current directory for example. thanks Bill billieakay@yahoo.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
