https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D246924 Bug ID: 246924 Summary: emulators/qemu-devel: miscompilation with llvm Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: bofh@freebsd.org Reporter: trasz@FreeBSD.org Assignee: bofh@freebsd.org Flags: maintainer-feedback?(bofh@freebsd.org) It looks like compiling qemu with LLVM (tested with 13-CURRENT, installed f= rom package) results in a slight miscompilation. It manifests in FreeBSD/power= pc64 failing to complete the kyua test suite on http://ci.FreeBSD.org due to an unkillable process, see eg https://ci.freebsd.org/job/FreeBSD-head-powerpc64-test/3/console. Building emulators/qemu-devel with gcc9 instead of LLVM results in a binary that can successfully complete those tests, with the same root filesystem image. My suggestion would be to build with GCC for the time being. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
