Yes, I'm aware of this but unable to find a replacement that works for me. I am confident this error is fixable because I have another almost identical workstation at home with recent 9-STABLE amd64 where kdenetwork3 builds fine. I heard from somewhere that there is a fork of KDE3 maintained by folks that just like me finds KDE4 unusable. Perhaps someone on the list knows more? Thanks,
