Hi I mirror much freebsd from the primary south african site. All has been going well. Recently i have been having problems with one mirror session. All other mirror sessions still work ok - weird ! The mirror is a fairly standard 2.2.8 release that gives few problems (uptime of 42 days etc ...) here is the error : mirror# mirror -d -pdists freebsd.mirror package=dists ftp.za.freebsd.org:/pub/FreeBSD/distfiles/ -> /usr/mirror/freebsd/distfiles/ Scanning local directory /usr/mirror/freebsd/distfiles/ Scanning remote directory /pub/FreeBSD/distfiles/ timelocal:/usr/share/perl/timelocal.pl:73 Caught a SIGFPE shutting down at /usr/local/bin/mirror line 3596, <NS> line 1882mirror# here is the section of the mirror config file for the distfiles : package=dists site=ftp.za.freebsd.org remote_dir=/pub/FreeBSD/distfiles/ local_dir=/usr/mirror/freebsd/distfiles/ compress_patt= The other six sections are similar, even down to the site and local path - it is just this one - so i don't think it has anything to do with the remote or local site - probably with the execution miror software itself - the version of the mirror software is 2.6 any ideas, or other information i could supply to aid in diagnosis ? thanks rudi To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
