Start by reading the detailed instructions of the port:

cd /usr/ports/sysutils/k3b
make showinfo

You are probably missing the atapicam driver:

kldload atapicam

Edit /boot/loader.conf and add:

atapicam_load="YES"

so that the above setting persists.
