Stranges Things with aic7xxx driver I've got 2 Scsi Host adapters: - 1 2940U2W ( No termination ) - 1 2940UW ( No termination ) I'm currently using the 2.2.7 kernel version and 5.1.15/3.2.4 aic7xxx driver version ( modules ) When i start with both aic card i've got a reset loop onto 2940U2W and i have to reboot But if i start with only my 2940UW and i install the module, it works perfectly. I have tried to connect only the 2940U2W without any device connected on it. And i still got a reset loop. It seems to become form 2940U2W. So do we need termination even if no devices are connected ? For informations here is my compil config CONFIG_SCSI_AIC7XXX=m CONFIG_AIC7XXX_TCQ_ON_BY_DEFAULT=y CONFIG_AIC7XXX_CMDS_PER_DEVICE=8 # CONFIG_AIC7XXX_PROC_STATS is not set CONFIG_AIC7XXX_RESET_DELAY=20 Thanks to answer me To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe aic7xxx" in the body of the message
