That IS something I had considered.  Most of my machines sport a parallel
port; all of them are of the variety where you connect a dual-row IDC
connector and some ribbon cable with a DB25 on the end up to it (as opposed
to being directly soldered to the back of the board).  This means I _could_
design a daughtercard inside the machine that connected to the parallel
port, the reset switch, and maybe fd power.  It would be adequate.  I'm just
trolling to see if somebody has a solution I don't have to work so hard at
:-)
