I have 3 physical hard drives all of which are IDE. I want to install the freeBSD Linux on the Secondary Master hard drive, a 1.6 gig. I want to be able to dual boot WIN98 (which is on my primary master, a 4.3 gig) and the Linux (which I want to install to the Seconday Master). How would I do that?? I cannot get Linux to install to the secondary master. How can I do that?? I can use the whole Secondary Drive for Linux, but just as long as I can dual boot WIN98 and Linux. Please E-mail me back with the proper commands and such. I will be installing the Linux via the internet, so I downloaded the boot.flp image file and installed it to a floppy disk. I can boot using the disk, but when it asks for information at the "boot:", I do not know what to put. I will let the Linux do its on kernel. I don't understand the sd, wd, fd. What do those stand for?? Please return my E-Mail to terrell@netdirect.net Thank you for your time. -Brice Oliver To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
