A cluster or just a bunch of beefy x86 I've run a QLogic 2200 card with an IBM SAN data gateway to a ESS 2105 (Shark) and it worked well. Remember to compile the card firmware into the kernel or it doesn't initialise the card properly. Well it didn't in my case. Carl.
