In = this case, you need to add USE_OPENSSL=3Dyes and then set WITH_OPENSSL_PORT= =3Dyes when on FreeBSD 9. I literally meant it: you should replace your BUILD_DEPENDS line with WITH_OPENSSL_PORT=3Dyes.
