Due to events not totally understood, the install
doesn't work with 4MB.. you need at least 5MB..
once it's up and going however 4MB is enough..

possibilities:
1/ borrow some ram for the install
2/ upgrade piece-meal from 2.0.5 by unpacking the 
distributions by hand  (if no need to repartition etc)
if you need to repartition.. do it with the 2.0.5 disk,
and install a minimal 2.0.5  THEN unpack the 2.1 distribution..
