I quite agree. The first idea behind the repo was to be able to "bundle" modified ports so that on can easily pick all of them and use them on top of the official tree. For me, the reference ports stays "what is currently in the FreeBSD ports" and if no complex dependency prevent it, committing changes directly to the FreeBSD ports tree is definitively an option. --=20 Romain Tarti=E8re http://people.FreeBSD.org/~romain/ pgp: 8234 9A78 E7C0 B807 0B59 80FF BA4D 1D95 5112 336F (ID: 0x5112336F) (plain text =3Dnon-HTML=3D PGP/GPG encrypted/signed e-mail much appreciated) --TB36FDmn/VVEgNH/ Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQGzBAEBCAAdFiEEgjSaeOfAuAcLWYD/uk0dlVESM28FAlluJUkACgkQuk0dlVES M2/nVgv9EKp+Phv3AXuPT4CBnYhGrZ8w6cYAzSWF/U6JSU2FT5v9Aaf1pq6Mo/CA hNx1wbDqicgi31me5IwrzSp6MOThi7HvxxqHwI7eg7Yz6HOd0ClV4cbgARDe3o8M ERUM8Sy0APGcLO5R0BgHytlvuhPLjk+sLhOBz+nbUwLATErzdR6lNlBG3svyqNSI wCqypzUg+VQqwv5YDIUzO42A3w5G2/WHiH+JjQEYrZKLTpJM6M51lqZ6nU2jA/gj Am8Agp4DMk7Nuhf20Y7Pq0kWlJR5C90YF4Fzc47kkBFGQ1uO14mTdeMv8GOefEUs ijpMSCSZpGaj4oMqwXtOKc81UotKDodfc3B601yjIAqY2+qoUX/J3AKroHsWs6MN Xxy+rg7rL7Rxj684l0Whau3gEbT6p1Eutp4NuX44/G66jAjlO9CBjnWpngprsTqx 7updkcu6l8vm64KthRcwg+naxH2B1XVufS4BUXxZuQWzF3ICuu5zsxBfNlNZOVdG 56x/yOPz =4As2 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --TB36FDmn/VVEgNH/--
