A data point, i have been using ipfilter from 4.x to 5.x w/o any panic. You will need to provide more info like backtrace for others to be able to help you. Search the mail archive and the FreeBSD handbook(s) on how to produce the backtrace & other debugging information ... http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/kernelconfig.html http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/developers-handbook/kerneldebug.html - Parv --
