Erich knows that.  His main point is in the first paragraph quoted
above.

To whom is 'you' referring in the paragraph above?  Erich's point is
simply that the attractiveness of some incarnations of Linux to some
companies can be explained by the observation that giants like IBM are
offering support for it.
