I used my old Win98-Installation to make a scan, and now the Epson Scanner is working with FreeBSD 4.8-STABLE. Strange. This definitively belongs to some sort of FAQ or to 'man sane-plustek'. Do you also get a 'Speicherschutzverletzung' if doing a Preview-Scan with xsane (signal 11)? Or is it just me (again). Regards, Holger Kipp
