I've owned a few alpha systems (dec3000/300x, as200, axppci33) but never anything that was very fast. To rectify this, I am hoping to get newer alpha in the next couple of months (maybe 21164 based). I've been looking on ebay and news groups, havn't seen any stellar deals yet, but I'll keep looking. What should I look for? A 164LX? A PWS? I would love to hear suggestions. I want to get at least 512MB memory and hopefully more, so a system that supports cheap memory would be a plus. Also it's gotta have SRM in case I want to toy with du/tru64 again.
