The interactive steps allowed me to understand the process. Then, I made the config files work. If you mail your config files, be sure your password is not in them. Look at the PPP Primer at www.freebsd.org/tutorials. Look at the handbook at www.freebsd.org/handbook. These helped me get the config files right.
