Agreed. On too many lists too. It's abuse on announce@freebsd, It is not an announcement, just yet another boring reminder of a regional event many on global lists will not attend. Compare with discipline of AsiaBSD that didn't keep re-announcing. Endless reminders of vBSDcon may be discouraged if more people respond by querying how close the globaly reviled NSA may lurk.
