I had an email filter incorrectly set and missed your message. Thanks for the suggestion. The Foundation's laptop project's scope doesn't currently include this functionality, but it's good to hear about what people are looking for from the laptop experience as this can inform any future work that the Foundation commissions. In the meantime, the best place to seek support for new laptop functionality is to attend the Laptop and Desktop Working Group [1] where a list of in-progress community and Foundation laptop work is being maintained, and new items may be added.
