Are there any other popular non-Adaptec IDE RAID solutions out there?

I have an Adaptec 2100S with 4 15K rpm U160-SCSI drives and I can't say I'm
terribly impressed with the 2100's RAID 0+1 performance. We also have a
Mylex Acceleraid card with 3 10K U160's in RAID5 that is somewhat faster or
at least as fast as the 2100 in 0+1 (too bad Mylex doesnt make any IDE cards).

Should I expect the same lackluster performance from the 2400A? If I do
get one, I'd install it with 4 IBM 60GXP's in RAID 0+1 config.

Thanks
