The second CD is a live filesystem, doesn't it have
the sources?

Otherwise. In DOS can't you do a 

copy src.aa + src.ab + ... src.tgz

I think those are the names of the files.

Of course, that's DOS 6.2, who knows if 
98 still supports that.
