Yes, that's what I meant:  there are chances that the port will be more
up to date than the version included with base system perl.  The fact
that it will be unused with the current -current perl is irrelevant
since there are plans to make it not so (i.e. to modify 5.6.1's @INC to
search through site_perl first) in the future.

If you agree with this, just say so - there is no need to provide a new
patch.  :-)
