Hi,

I have two adaptec 2940UW's built into the mother board of my IBM 704.
They are not being used for anything now, and I'd like to know if they
can be used for connecting to a SCSI tape back up system (HP SureStore
24x6i)?

I'm just not clear if the controller is meant only for driving hard
drives or if it can be used for driving any SCSI peripheral?
