I have tried to go deeper and deeper to find out how "printf" works. ((( Of course the aim of trying to understand the "printf", is to understand how the internals of the BSD kernel work))) till i've faced the following function: "fo_write" which was confusing for me.... =) Then, I've figured out that i need to understand two important things in the BSD to know how the "printf" works. The first thing is how dose the device driver works, and the second thing is the file system, and small knowledge about the process structure. I will try to do that, but which resources can help me. For Linux, there are two great book which can make my life easier "FOR LINUX ONLY" 1.UNDERSTANDING THE LINUX KERNEL. 2.LINUX DEVICE DRIVERS. Now what resources you can recommend for me! I prefer Internet resources.
