Any know why when I install via ftp through my gateway throughput is fine to the box I'm installing on. But then after I finish installing, when reboot from the floppies to add additional software (i.e., kde), it reads the package list and always freezes at about 16800 bits read from Mesa. GNOME does the same thing with Imlib. Why does it freeze after about one second of downloading?
