Nothing shows up when I go to the AppleTalk control panel, and when I try to open Network Browser, it hangs and I have to reboot the mac. I have been to all of the netatalk sites, but still have no idea what to do. My atalkd.conf file reads as follows: xl0 -phase 2 -net 0-65534 -addr 65280.13 adding a named zone ( -zone "myZone") doesn't help my /usr/local/etc/AppleVolumes.system file looks ok. my /etc/services file seems to have everything required by netatalk. my xl0 interface seems ok: xl0: flags=8843 mtu 1500 inet 10.0.0.4 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 10.0.0.255 inet6 fe80::250:daff:fe1a:e000%xl0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x1 atalk 65280.13 range 0-65534 phase 2 broadcast 0.255 ether 00:50:da:1a:e0:00 media: autoselect (100baseTX ) status: active supported media: autoselect 100baseTX 100baseTX 10baseT/UTP 10baseT/UTP 100baseTX Any help would be very welcome. thanks, ken_seggerman@suleyman.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
