I didn't I did not understand how particular encodings issues appearse in case M$ Typography fonts. Their fonts are UNICODE and usually include Cyrillic Unicode range, so _any_ Cyrillic 256 bytes decode table will be right. In case you have Unicode Cyrillic <-> _any_ (including your own) 256 Cyrillic charset decode table, you can use it, but please don't touch official names such as koi8, koi8-r, koi8-u, koi8-ru with unofficial homemade tables, or "merge" them - they are all different. -- Andrey A.
