However, it supports a wide variety of applications for providing all sorts of internet services such as: DNS, mail, ftp, web, nntp, etc., and you'll be able to find almost anything you need for it for free. Just look aroung http://www.freebsd.org (especially under Documentation...) to see if it fits you. Be warned, though, that setting up a server, especially with UNIX-style OS's (which FreeBSD is), is a task with a steep learning curve, so be ready to read books and go through many trials and errors if you decide to setup such a thing for the first time.
