X-BeenThere: freebsd-x11@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list List-Id: X11 on FreeBSD -- maintaining and support List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Fri, 01 Jun 2007 01:57:24 -0000 I had been hoping that the Xorg 7.2 upgrade would get me to a point where I could use my 1680x1050 ViewSonic display, but I am still having two problems after using the nv driver with the builtin GeForce 6100. One: The mouse cursor is invisible. Two: Colors are severely distorted, especially blue. Setting the gamma to 0.4 gets things better, but not right. This happens with all monitors, so it's the card that's messed up. Because of #2, even if there's a fix for the mouse pointer problem, I still need to get a graphics card. Are there any suggestions for well supported cards in a 64 bit Gateway GT5228 with a 1680x1050 ViewSonic VX2235wm-3?
