It also sometimes fails with it disabled with the following message: ppp[326]: tun0: Warning: iface add: ioctl(SIOCAIFADDR, 203.134.172.78/24 -> 0.0.0.0): Destination address required ppp[326]: tun0: Error: ipcp_InterfaceUp: unable to set ip address Replacing /usr/sbin/ppp with the RELENG_4_6 version seems to help.
