I need >to be able to tell which devices one can install to, after all.. Yes, -t doesn't work here either. DC_CLS_DISK is only in fd.c and wd.c and DC_CLS_RDISK is only in mcd.c and scd.c. The scsi devices may be easy to fix by changing DC_UNKNOWN in scsi/*.c. Bruce
