I upgraded 4.8 to FreeBSD4.9 Release=20

ran
- make buildworld
- make buildkernel KERNCONF=3DMYKERNEL
- installkernel KERNCONF=3DMYKERNEL

rebooted to single mode ...now I am getting the following error messages =


Terminated abnormally. going to single user mode, enter full pathname of =
shell or RETURN for /bin/sh:

I hit enter and kept getting this line,  tried /bin/tcsh ... I still =
can't get the prompt ... can you help please=20
