In fact, it was. I only posted to -current after receiving no response for a few days (since I suspected that it might have been related to my upgrade to 5.0). I personally have never messed with sendmail's configuration because on my system it functions only as a local mailer. I guess that may be one reason for proposing that sendmail be moved out of the base system. It has all the power (and the complexity that comes with that power) of a full-featured mailer, yet most machines are not mail servers. Well, anyway, there's my two cents.
