https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D217258 Trenton Schulz <freebsd@norwegianrockcat.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |freebsd@norwegianrockcat.co | |m --- Comment #10 from Trenton Schulz <freebsd@norwegianrockcat.com> --- Just thought I would try to add another data point, but it seems to have something to do with permissions. That is, if I run as a user in the vboxus= ers group, it segfaults; running as root (via sudo for example), works fine. A *quick* look at the files doesn't seem like anything has changed between = the two boot environments (attached from another user). All the same files have= the setuid bit for root. Not really knowing much more, I'd hazard to guess something with permission checking has changed in FreeBSD and this is a symptom (i.e., the change isn= 't in VirtualBox). Sorry, that's about all I can do for the moment. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
