Yes, you can download the BETA SNAP from ftp.freebsd.org in:
	ftp> pwd
	257 "/.2/FreeBSD/alpha" is current directory.
Which is /pub/FreeBSD/alpha/.  The SNAP directory is :

	drwxr-xr-x  14 2035  207  512 Nov  6 17:35 3.0-19981105-SNAP

Just get the boot floppy and do what you would as if it was a regular
x86 install.
