I remember a couple of kludges in the Makefile just for the sake of
advancing the build that need to be cleaned up.

My compliments to Rene for being the lead on this, plus Bapt and Joseph
who I helped drag into this to help out because they made the mistake of
saying "If there is anything I can do to help..."

Most importantly, I want to thank the contributor base who tested, sent
in patches, and provided the feedback.  The community helped make this
happen!
