My problem is, that the card does only 1152x768 when I start X. I can change to my desired resolution 1280x1024 with xrandr, but I don't think that this is the right way. I've put a Matrox G550 and a ATI Radeon 9250 into my system and both card showed exactly the same behavior. I've read that other people are expiriencing exactly the same problem and I'm wondering, if there is already a solution for that.
