Hi Jan, I'm OK with trying what you suggest. But the only think I absolutely need is that GCC 9, and no other compilers, be used for the build. Do you think your proposal guarantees that? Upstream wants that porters use vetted compiler versions, and I can only second that since an earlier attempt to build with clang 8 caused immediate executable crashes (C++ libraries mixing being ruled out of the equation). Now, as you must have understood from the other discussion, for now it will be a local change for me, and cannot be integrated into the Ports tree since www/ palemoon has been removed.
