This was the result of a survey in a libretto mailing list that I'm on. 1/2 of all the librettos in this survey ran FreeBSD! While the numbers look very skewed, this is from a list that has more traffic on Win95 and Linux than anything else. I know that the sample was biased but I was surprized to see the number of systems running multiple OSs on the Libretto. And it would seem that the answer to the question that started the survey in the first place is that no one is running NT 5.0 on a Libretto. OS Japanese L20 Japanese L60 50 70 100 Win95 3 2 Win98 1 1 WinNT 4.0 1 MSDOS 6.22 1 FreeDOS 1 FreeBSD 1 1 8 Linux 3 1 2 BSD/OS 1 Plan 9 1 Total number of responses: 20 The sum of all the numbers in the above table are greater than the total responses because of the number of multiOS systems ( 5 ) Most common responses to questions: What is good about the Libretto: the size What is bad about the Libretto: the size What is good about the OS: ability to run REAL apps (as opposed to WinCE -- an interesting common theme for ALL OS users!) What is bad about the OS: lack of driver support I have created a Web page for the Libretto http://www.taygeta.com/libretto.html The page is under construction, but it has a Web form for adding to the survey if you haven't already done so.
