Doing a "make distribution" from src/etc is no longer supported,
because you will encounter these types of errors. These errors are
ocurring because the MK_* variables are not defined in your
6.1-PRERELEASE /usr/share/mk/* files. These vaiables are defined in
the src/share/mk/* files in -CURRENT.

So, just do a "make distribution" from src/ instead of src/etc.
