  I believe this is a known problem - look in the -hackers archive
for messages with the subjects that contain "daily panic" and/or
"dup alloc".

  I also believe we have a shot at getting this repaired soon.

  In th meantime, can you send me the dmesg output from your machine;
I'm keeping a record of the kinds of machines (processor, memory, disk type,
etc...) this occurs on..
