: Would this be an ideal to use with something like : the Nakamichia 7 disc cd changer? Why bother? With the Nakamichi, you just mount all 7 disks and then cd to the mount points. The automounter is for people that have 100000 file systems on 1000 machines and need to access them via the same paths on all of them w/o mounting all of them on all machines. Warner
