A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away (actually, it was on 02-Jun-99), the great prophet Paul Nathan Puri once wrote: > OK. I've seem some conflicting reports here. I have it on reliable sources that the 7200i works just as well. However, you need FreeBSD 3.2-RELEASe or later, however. 2.2.x does not support them at all, and 3.0-3.1 contain a bug that could cause your write process to abort (resulting in a ruined disc) if the your burner does not support the ATAPI "rezero" command. 3.2 fixes this problem. Also, the ATAPI CD-writer suppport is *NOT* Done using the 'cdrecord' port. Instead, take a look at the scripts in /usr/share/examples/atapi. --- Donald Burr <dburr@pobox.com> | PGP: Your *NEW* WWW HomePage: http://more.at/dburr/ ICQ #16997506 | right to Address: P.O.
