Yes, only thing that you might need to fix font by manual.

There is no UPDATING entry of linux_base(-8), because linux_base is still  
default. netchild has a patch to replace linux_base to linux_base-8 as  
default and some of us are testing his patch. His patch doesn't only fix,  
but also fix some real bugs.
