Greetings!

I just installed FreeBSD 4.2 onto my system and i installed XFree86 3.3.6 and KDE 1.x. If i will install XFree86 4.x do i need the XFree86 3.3.6 or v4.x can stand alone? Same as in if i will install KDE 2 do i need to install also the KDE 1.x?
