The state of this issue upstream indicate that it may not be resolved any s=
oon.

PJSIP assumes that a wildcard bind will work for both IPv4 and IPv6 peers, =
but
this is incompatible with BSD kernels and works this way only on Linux kern=
els.

For the Asterisk developers, FreeBSD is not a project supported environment
and, probably because of this, the issue is currently flagged as of minor
severity and left to the community to do anything.
