Hello, I recently installed FreeBSD 4.7-release onto an old spare PC (266 MHz PII) so I could learn more about FreeBSD. Consider me a pretty raw newbie right now. Yesterday I attempted to use the ports collection to install the Galeon web browser, but the process aborted : su password cd /usr/ports/www/galeon make ... .... <several hours go by while tarballs are downloaded via my dial-up modem and Mozilla compiles (as a dependency for Galeon)> .... .... Checksum mismatch for gnome/gnome-vfs-1.0.5.tar.bz2 Make sure Makefile and distinfo file are up to date Stop in /usr/ports/devel/gnomevfs Any suggestions on fixing this?
